  I have been training at Ultimate Self Defense NY for while now and I can not get enough. The price is great and they offer discounts to Military and Government employees. The instructors are very knowledgeable and are more then willing to go over things until you fully grasp them. The best part of this school I believe is that they cater to the level of the student, in other words if you are someone who wants to learn a great sport, get in shape all while having fun and making new friends this school is perfect for that. On the other hand if you want to get into local competitions and amateur MMA they will not only train you but they will coach you at the event. The Gym is excellent, plenty of matt space, all sorts of equipment, different types of bags, hand targets, strength and endurance training equipment, water fountain, even a full sized boxing ring. I still remember that first day I was a bit nervous at first but soon as I walked in and met the instructors I knew I was in the right gym. My advice, if you are looking to join a gym just come on down and see for yourself!
