  The food is decent, but the service is terrible (also the diner is very noisy compared to other places). I have been here a few times and I always feel rushed. Like they just want you to hurry up and eat and get out. The busboys keep walking past your table and looking at your plate about every two seconds and after barely taking your last bite of food, they're taking your plate away. Also the waitresses disappear and have very bad attitudes. I was there a few days ago with my Mom and it was chaotic; a very loud event going on in the party room. I understand that some places have events, but it should not be so noticeable. And when we finished eating, the waitress asked if we'd like any dessert. We weren't yet ready, and all my Mom did was ask her to give us a minute to decide. The waitress gave her a dirty look and got nasty with her and never came back. We had to get up and look for her just to get the check. I sure miss Mike's Place, and I hope that diner reopens, but from now on, me and my family will be going elsewhere.
